As the number of T400, nylon and other fabrics entering warehouses in dyeing factories decreases, market orders begin to disappear, and the traditional peak season in the second half of the year is basically over. Although this wave of market conditions is not satisfactory, it has also played an exciting role in the textile off-season.
I thought that after the peak season brought by market goods was over, textile workers would have to wait for the Chinese New Year, but I didn’t expect that the order market had caught wind of the situation and stepped in to take over, and some orders improved significantly.
Spring and summer fabric orders are placed, the king of four-sided elastic is back
Four-way stretch fabrics have been performing well this year. While other weaving factories are worrying about hundreds of thousands or millions of meters of inventory, many four-way stretch weaving factories are still waiting in line for goods. Although the limelight of four-way elastic was obviously overshadowed by T400, which is also a stretch fabric, the quality and style of four-way stretch cannot be replaced by T400, especially now that it is often used in spring and summer clothing and beach shorts, and the demand in the European and American markets is particularly huge. . The current time point is exactly the preparation period for next year’s spring and summer clothing. Due to the large-scale orders for market goods, the dyeing factory has invested a lot of production capacity to produce and process these fabrics with simple technology, rich output, and quick payment, thus squeezing out a lot of money. Four-sided bomb production capacity. Some dyeing factories even take the initiative to increase the dyeing fees for four-way bombs to refuse orders for four-way bombs.
Now the dyeing factory is in a period of declining market supply. The previous market supply overwhelmed the dyeing factory, and the output of nearly 200 cylinders a night has disappeared. But orders for fabrics have quietly come to take over.
According to feedback from a four-sided bomb trader in Shengze area, they recently received an order for a 450,000-meter grid four-sided bomb. Although they have made many orders for four-sided bombs this year, most of them are several thousand meters or tens of thousands of meters long, and this time the quantity of 450,000 meters is basically the largest this year.
The printing market is improving and transfer printing is beginning to gain momentum
This year’s printing market has been tepid, especially for water printing. In previous years, orders for imitation silk and nylon fabrics shrank significantly from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. But recently, thanks to the placement of fabric orders for next spring and summer, the printing market has begun to improve, and water printing factories have been flooded with a large number of imitation silk orders. According to the staff of the water printing factory, 70%-80% of the factory is now made of imitation silk fabrics, and the volume of individual orders is also increasing compared to the previous period. Orders of several kilometers or tens of thousands of meters can be seen everywhere. In the summer, many factories have prototypes that are tens of meters or hundreds of meters smaller. Not only water printing factories, transfer printing factories perform even better. Compared with water printing, transfer printing process is simple, more efficient, and most importantly, relatively cheap. At present, the additional fee per meter for transfer printing is less than 2 yuan/meter, while for water printing, it is close to 3 yuan/meter. According to feedback from a textile company in Wujiang area, they have done a lot of printing this year, such as hemp, four-way stretch, polyester taffeta and other printing. But recently, they received a 170,000-meter four-sided elastic transfer print, which is more than their other prints put together throughout the year. According to them, transfer printing can generally receive orders of acceptable quantity, and the possibility of repeat orders is greater.
It can be said that transfer printing has gained momentum recently, largely due to the rebound in demand for four-way stretch fabrics. In particular, the foreign trade market has never lacked a huge number of orders for four-way stretch fabrics, but the foreign trade market is “careful” about prices. The characteristic of transfer printing is that the larger the order quantity, the lower the cost.
Compared with the number of orders, the delivery date problem is more of a headache
The orders mentioned above for several companies are very enviable, but they are troubled by the delivery date problem. The delivery date given by the customer is very tight and must be shipped before the year. They could have taken advantage of the relatively idle period of the dyeing factory to process orders, but the quantity of gray fabrics required for their orders was not immediately available, and some even had special varieties that required raw materials to be woven. A lot of time will be wasted, leaving little room for delivery. On the other hand, next year’s Spring Festival is in January. Once the Spring Festival approaches, factory workers will be homesick and go home early, and the factory’s production capacity will drop rapidly. It is estimated that the dyeing factory will stop production and rest a few days after New Year’s Day this year, and logistics will also be affected. .
Not only are there problems with delivery times for large orders, but also the queueing of small vats in some dyeing factories is even more obvious. According to feedback from a dyeing factory, there are currently 300 small vats they are making in line, and new ones are being added every day. Although the current dyeing factories are not busy, as the end of the year is approaching, the time for production operations is limited. If these small tanks are converted into large quantities, there will most likely be a very crowded queue before the year ends.
It seems that the textile market has ended a year ago, but in fact the order market has begun to gain momentum. Although the dyeing factories are relatively idle at this time, this is temporary, and we must seize the opportunity before the year before. Shipment orders are about to be placed one after another. In addition, spring and summer clothing are mostly printed, which determines that the demand for printing has unlimited potential, and market products rarely involve printed fabrics, leaving a huge space for the printing market.
