Recently, the Indonesian Anti-dumping Commission issued an announcement on the third anti-dumping sunset review of polyester staple fiber imported from China, India, and Taiwan. It recommended that the Indonesian Ministry of Finance continue to impose levies on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries/regions for a period of 5 anti-dumping duties in 2018 (see the attached table for tax rates), the implementation of the measures shall be subject to the taxation announcement of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. The products involved are polyester fibers that have not been roughed, combed or otherwise processed before spinning, and involve products under Indonesian tax numbers 5503.20.00 and 5503.20.90.
