Langxi is becoming an important Textile cluster area
The good news is that the Langxi area of Anhui Province, as the “pioneer” in the migration of water-jet looms to the central and western regions, has taken over the Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas Part of the production capacity, the regional economy has benefited from the development of the textile industry, the industrial layout has become more complete, and the production capacity supporting facilities are also relatively complete.
1. The budding period of Langxi textile production capacity: Liujia Shengze The expansion of textile enterprises
It is understood that Langxi’s textile production capacity first started in 2011, when six Shengze textile enterprises were stationed They have become a group of pioneers. In an environment of poverty and underdeveloped logistics, the courage of these six Shengze textile companies can be seen. According to Mr. Qu of Anhui Fuqiang Textile Co., Ltd., which bought land in 2011 and moved into production in 2013, The price of land purchased in 2011 was 70,000 yuan/acre, which was a lot of money at the time. However, the entire park was desolate, and everyone was not optimistic about the market prospects at the time. It was precisely because of their persistence that the land was purchased in 2017. A large number of textile companies settled in the area in 2001, and now, it is precisely because of the foresight and persistence of these six textile companies that they are the first to enjoy the dividends of the region.
2. Elimination by spraying water in Shengze, Jiaxing and Changxing In terms of production capacity, during this survey, the words I heard the most were “our land here” “Not much left.” In recent years, with the elimination of water spraying in Shengze, Jiaxing, Changxing and other places, the Langxi area, which is less than 3 hours’ drive from these areas, has become a hot spot. Water looms are flooding in. According to feedback from many local production companies, this phenomenon reached its peak after the first half of 2018. The original bustling more than ten companies suddenly expanded to 40, and the production capacity surged to more than 15,000 units. What’s crazy is that in the second half of 2018, the land auction price was once as high as nearly 400,000 per mu, which was nearly 6 times higher than in 2012. According to preliminary estimates, there are currently about 15,000-18,000 water-jet looms in Langxi area, and there are about 45 manufacturing companies. However, on-site visits found that several local textile companies that bought land in the early years still have a large amount of idle land to be developed. New workshops have been planned in the near future, and most of the government’s approvals have been completed. According to Mr. Qu’s feedback, according to the current carrying capacity of the park’s sewage treatment, the textile industrial park will reach the limit of 30,000 units in the next two years.

3. Independent printing and dyeing factory, printing factory, pulp finishing and equipment, Langxi is becoming an important Textile cluster area
At the same time, whether a region can successfully transform in the later period depends on the supporting facilities upstream and downstream of its industrial chain. In this article It seems that the production capacity supporting facilities in the Langxi area have gradually become complete. From a front-end perspective, basically all local factories with more than 300 looms are equipped with sizing and processing equipment. In the past, these front-end procedures had to go through pre-processing in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. In addition, what makes the author even more delighted is that I saw one of the few automatic heddle-threading and reeding machines in Shengzedu. At the same time, in the past two years, Huzhou textile bosses have also established a large-scale printing and dyeing factory locally, with relatively complete facilities. It is understood that the printing and dyeing prices and production load capacity of the printing companies in Shengze are relatively advantageous compared to the dyeing factories in Shengze. Therefore, the author believes that as the “pioneer” in the migration of water-jet looms to the Midwest, it has fully enjoyed the dividends in recent years, and Langxi is becoming an important domestic textile industry cluster.

On the other hand, it is also based on the forced transfer of Jiaxing’s water jet production capacity that year. Now we know that there is a new plan in Jiaxing area. In the textile park, on the premise that the costs are similar, companies have a strong desire to return to their hometowns. When interviewing another textile company, the person in charge also said that the textile production in Langxi area has become saturated and is basically not competitive compared with Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas. In recent years, the company has also opened a textile factory in the central and western regions. Policy support is relatively strong, and there may be moves to this region in the future.
In short, as the most important stop in the early years of Jiangsu and Zhejiang’s transfer to the central and western regions, In terms of promoting the development of industrial clusters in the central and western regions, the scale effect of Langxi is very prominent. Regions and enterprises have enjoyed a wave of dividends in the past few years. At the same time, contradictions are very prominent in the transfer process.
