During the communication between the customer service and the customer yesterday, we learned that the customer is a schoolbag manufacturer and now needs an Oxford cloth for the lining. Because the market is soaring now, I want to see how 210T is and whether it can replace 210D Oxford cloth. Our suggestion is of course to use 210D Oxford cloth as the lining, which is stronger. Why do you say that? Let’s look at the difference between the two!

210T polyester taffeta is thin and light. It is a thin all-polyester fabric woven from polyester filaments. After dyeing, printing, embossing, coating and other post-processing, it feels smooth, non-sticky, elastic, bright and shiny, and not easy to wrinkle. 210T polyester taffeta is used in down jackets, sportswear, casual wear, children’s clothing fabrics, luggage linings, tent fabrics, shower curtains, car clothing, baby fences, tablecloths, etc.
210D Oxford cloth is made of 100% polyester yarn, and the warp and weft yarns are 210D. The fabric is made of plain weave interwoven on a water-jet loom. After some post-processing, it has the advantages of fine texture, light texture, soft hand feeling, and good durability. Suitable for tents, advertising aprons, bags, shoes, storage boxes and other fabric linings.

210D Oxford The cloth has a thicker texture than 210T polyester taffeta, is thicker and wear-resistant, and the schoolbag has a heavier bearing capacity. Therefore, it is recommended to use 210D Oxford cloth. If necessary, you can use 210D waterproof Oxford cloth.
