For the same square gram weight, the thinner the fabric, the higher the density, and the thinner the fabric, the softer and more comfortable the hand, and the more high-end it looks visually.
Example: 50 grams of cotton, made into 2570 strands of 1 meter yarn, that is 30S; 50 grams of cotton and 3430 yarns of 1 meter, that is 40S.
2. Density
Gauze fabrics are divided into warp and weft density, and the two complement each other. Simply put, density refers to the number of warp threads and the number of latitude threads in an inch. Generally, good gauze fabrics have more than 90 threads per inch.
