Currently, cotton processing in the ginnery in Alar region of Xinjiang is coming to an end, with the seed cotton processing rate reaching about 85%, but the lint fraction is the lowest in recent years (net lint fraction is around 36%-37%).
Affected by the sharp inversion of acquisition costs and futures, as well as the overall weak purchase and sales, local ginners’ lint sales have been slow, and most ginners have held up the price of cotton, resulting in lint prices. Inventories are high.
