Filtration membranes are divided into four forms according to the size of the micropores: microfiltration membrane (MF), ultrafiltration membrane (UF), nanofiltration membrane (NF) and reverse osmosis membrane (RO). Microfiltration membrane generally refers to filtration membrane. Filter membrane with pore size between 0.1-1 micron.
Microfiltration membranes are divided into inorganic membranes and organic polymer membranes based on film-forming materials. Inorganic membranes are further divided into ceramic membranes and metal membranes. Organic polymer membranes are further divided into natural polymer membranes and synthetic polymer membranes.
