Revolving around Winter Olympics elements and reflecting traditional Chinese aesthetics
The “Double Olympic City” themed work clothes designed by Guo Yucheng, a teacher at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, are mainly used in various types of guidance, consultation, services, etc. Scenes.
Guo Yucheng introduced that the design of this set of work clothes revolves around “Beijing and the Olympics”. Wan Lan introduced that when it comes to people working in the catering industry, people will naturally think of the professional image and representative color of chefs. In international practice, chefs’ clothing uses white as the identification color, which represents “Clean” also symbolizes ice and snow. In order to make the clothing better reflect the elements of the Winter Olympics, she chose red plum and azure in the Olympic color system as the colors of the apron. Satisfy functionality and have certain protective functions

Guo Yucheng said that in terms of design, clothing must coordinate functionality and protection.
He explained that functionality includes two aspects, one is the identification of work types; the other is meeting human mobility, that is, meeting the activity needs of Winter Olympic Village volunteers and staff in basic work scenarios.
In terms of protection, the clothing mainly uses special fabrics such as SMS medical protective clothing. Among them, the first layer is made of double-layer spunbond non-woven fabric, which is composed of polyester and polypropylene and has good firmness and wear resistance. The middle layer is made of double-layer melt-blown cloth, which has good filtering and shielding properties. The common masks used by people are melt-blown non-woven materials, which ensure breathability, shield against viruses, and achieve thermal insulation effect at the same time. The last layer is spunbond non-woven fabric, which is composed of multiple layers. In addition to being wear-resistant and firm, it can also achieve visual balance and be skin-friendly.
Memory�It is understood that the fabrics of “work clothes with protective functions” are all independently developed in China. They mainly use PP coated non-woven fabrics and SMS special fabrics for medical protective clothing. The clothing fabrics used are also different for different work scenarios.

Xu Bo said that although the main working scene of the housekeeping staff is indoors, where the temperature is basically maintained above 20 degrees Celsius, their work also includes transporting garbage outdoors, and the work space involves indoor to They were not allowed to add more clothes during the outdoor switch, so the material of the top was relatively thick, taking into account the protective properties of the clothes, as well as the windproof and warm properties of switching back and forth between temperatures.
Although the fabric has “multiple layers”, another feature it has is that it is “light and thin”. Guo Yucheng said that this is also the reason why the work clothes are better in craftsmanship. Its technical breakthrough point is to achieve the lightweight and weight limit, which reflects the characteristics of the Winter Olympics in science and technology.
Wanlan’s design adopts the simplest, most convenient and most practical concepts. Its “Building Dreams for the Future” themed work clothes are all made of disposable medical coated isolation gown fabrics, which are thin, economical, and more convenient to handle harmlessly, reflecting the concept of running the competition frugally.
Reduce the sense of tension and make it easier to put on and take off
The reporter learned that the difficulty of this project is to design work clothes with protective functions, but the appearance cannot be the same as common medical clothes. The one-piece protective suit is similar, giving people a sense of oppression and tension.
In people’s inherent impression, epidemic prevention staff are dressed in white clothing, hats and goggles. When people see many volunteers wearing white protective clothing marching in and out in order to engage in voluntary work , is visually intense.
In this regard, Xu Bo optimized the appearance of the clothing in terms of design. The color of the clothing was blue and white, which represent ice and snow sports. The overall look is relatively clean.
From a style point of view, the advantage of the jumpsuit is that it has good airtightness, but the disadvantage is that the traces of the protective suit are too heavy. There is a protective suit in the national standard that can also be designed as a separate body. Therefore, referring to the national standard, many Bo designed the “Ice and Snow Dream” theme work clothes into upper and lower separate styles.
The catering work clothes designed by Wan Lan adopt the internationally accepted “apron” design, which combines the visual sense of disposable isolation blouses and aprons in an orderly manner, highlighting the service attributes and weakening the epidemic prevention clothing. It brings a sense of distance and tension.
